Penis Straws are Disco-tastic!

The kids and I were walking down the drink isle at the grocery store, headed towards the checkout, when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw these straws. I immediately laughed out loud and snatched the package from the display.
"What's so funny?" asked the kids.
"I just think these straws are cute, that's all. Hey look isn't that the soda we tried the other day?" I had to divert their attention. I'm not really sure what this straw shape was supposed to be. If I had to guess, I would say a rocket? Maybe? See for yourself.

Can you see the shapes in that package? There is a pink heart, an orange flower, a purple loop-to-loop, some green squiggly thing, and a red penis. Wait. WHAT?! That's right. Apparently no crazy straw package is complete with out a red-penis.

Either this was supposed to be some sort of rocket ship and the person who's job it was to form the plastic didn't notice it's phallic properties, or that person did notice and made it anyway with an ironic little grin on her/his face. Either way, I salute the underpaid factory worker for this one. It's a beauty.

What's wrong with me, though, that I walked through the store, not looking for anything in particular and happened to spot this one straw? There was another package next to it and I checked: no penis straw. I feel like Igor in Young Frankenstein "Damn your eyes!" But I can't help it. I see penis straws, being sold like normal straws. They don't know they're penises.




I guess that fits. I have always had an uncanny talent for picking out the dick in any crowd. However, those dicks never ended up in my mouth and neither will this one.
